Tour the House of Sampoerna

Located in the city centre is the captivating sight of the House of Sampoerna. Complete with thick, white columns at its entrance that soon gives way to views of grey walls that extend across its exterior, the House of Sampoerna details the brilliance of Dutch architecture from top to bottom. Though, having seen the light of day as an orphanage, the building would quickly transform itself into manufacturing traditional clove cigarettes and tobacco during the 1930s.
